More about me below.

I am an artist and a student at the University of Colorado. I plan to enter the creative industry specializing in design and art directing. My mind has always been set on aesthetic and design. Whether it is fine art, graphic, interior, or fashion design, I am infatuated by it. I love making things look good and believe I possess the technical skills to succeed at it. My love for art and design has followed me since I was young. My mother was an artist, and I grew up watching her collect and create art. I was exposed to a range of mediums, ranging from photoshop to oil paint. The idea of art directing came to as the real-world application of art, something I find to be absolutely brilliant. I like to call it applied art, just like applied science. Outside work assigned in my art classes, I truly started my artistic journey in digital art. I would use photoshop and illustrator to make logos and mess around with design. As time went on, I became quite handy with digital art software but began to take significant interest in art history and fine art. I gave painting a shot, but it did not exactly suit my patience. I was then introduced to charcoal work and it has been my main medium ever since. I love how raw and simple the material is. Charcoal allows me to push metaphoric messages through a black and white lens, allowing the viewer to focus more on the meaning than the image itself.
