Lately I have been quite stumped with my art. I often feel I have amazing ideas on the tip of my tongue, but cannot quite reach them. I have been exploring the use of a chrome figure in many of my recent creative works. This was to display a character who has no personality, just a placeholder. I want to continue to build off that same ambiguity but with a unique figure of my own imagination. Another example of an ambiguous figure I have been interested in is thermal. I think I will pursue that subject matter a bit later. For now, I am still finishing up some charcoal drawings because I have many unfinished pieces. I have been sketching a lot of abstract images. I have never really tried abstract art so I find these subconscious scribbles quite interesting. It makes me wonder what they would look like converted to a massive canvas. As far as digital design goes, I am making some logos for some friends outside of class. It is helping me practice adobe programs. I am also very excited to work on our audition project because I have never ever touched this program. I am looking to make a series based on the past effecting the present, or the future. I want to do this by using perspective; the farther in the background a subject is, the further back in time it is. Here are some photos displaying inspirations and sketches.
