My take on Net.Art is that it consists mainly of art outside the usual digital art programs. It is more about seeing what the computer offers as just the machine and the applications it directly offers. There is no programs usage such as photoshop or illustrator. The art is usually created with the natural glitches and miscalculations the computer computes. These accidental or purposeful glitches often create a unique sight to the human eye. This was especially significant when computers were first created as there was so much to explore and mess around with as it is something that was recently introduced to the world. Nowadays, everything there is to be screens shotted and created in the weird sections of a computers software, has already been done. You can still create weird sights by misusing the device, but it is not interesting, or original anymore. Nothing digitally is truly that amazing because it was "easy" to do. Personally, I find the new wave of internet art will be images created by the misusage or design programs, specifically adobe. I believe there is so much to be explored in these design programs. I think there are many abstract images and bizarre effects in which you can manipulate into original artwork. I also think that physical art is still superior to digital, but it is cool, and most importantly, it is vital for quick, and perfect design.
