This collaborative project was very amusing for me. We began the process by exploring what AI art meant to us, and how to incorporate it into a theme and a message. We came up with a theme and a dichotomy of nature vs AI. I personally took this theme as negative. I feel poorly about AI art and think it should be ignored. I think Mother Nature is god and ai seems to be a mocking of nature. That is why I chose to began the project with an image of a distressed girl laying in a soft bed of flowers. Showing that this character is hugging onto nature tightly whilst images of the future and technology haunting her. I also really enjoyed the lower image of the robots specifically because it seems like the robots themselves are skeptical of their own existence. I just dont see why we are ignoring our planet and focusing so heavily on technology and “meta” universes.
