I made these images by adding in the prompt of the original photo title into AI, and then remixing them myself in photoshop. I began by entering “Raising the flag at Iwo Jima” into the dream scape artificial intelligence photo generator. I took these slightly remaster images from the ai machine and put them into photoshop. I then added in political posters with overlay and remixed the colors in touch ups. I found making this to be very engaging and actually felt guilty about how much fun I had with the tools. I aimed to incorporate a them of “What for?” To the patriotism and conquering of the original image. If all these atrocities stopped happening than we would have won.
